Fatima Slonim, fine artist

I loved to draw since I was a little girl, and doodling was my favorite pastime.  My first experience with art in a class setting was an Arts and Crafts class at Sacred Heart of Mary High in Montebello, CA.  I then attended California State University at Los Angeles and obtained a BA in Fine Arts.  I obtained my elementary and secondary teaching credentials, grades K-12, with an emphasis in Art.  I have had experience teaching Art to students in elementary, junior and high schools.

During a very dark period in my life, I was guided spiritually to use my creativity as a means of healing, and to grow in knowledge and understanding of my Catholic Christian faith.
